”Really happy with our choice to stay near the M25. Location very good. Hotel staff welcoming. Bar area very inviting. Rooms had everything we needed and very nicely furnished. Bedding good and the best of all (for me as a complete pillow snob!) these were the best! Breakfast variety very good and the whole area clean and spacious Great stay! ”

”Hotel was fine. The car park is quite small and there is a charge to use it. Get there early or you are walking from the multistorey next door. Cheeck was easy enough. Room was fine and wifi was good. Had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and borh were nice. View from the restaurant is depressing but thats no fault of the hotel. Check was quick. ”

”I stayed at Holiday inn express braintree with my friend for 3 nights (a weekend). We stayed for V Festival in Chelmsford, but every hotel in C was full. There was literally no place to get food from, took a taxi to get to city centre (about £5) and back to get food on a friday night. To festival we took a bus that hotel's staff knew nothing about. Bus took about 35 minutes and cost £2,8-£5. The last bus back from Chelmsford was around 11pm on Saturday and 10pm on Sunday, so if you wantedto stay...

”Not bad. Property is used by locals as a wedding venue so there were many visitors joining to discuss this. Lunch area gets packed. Menu of food was good on Wednesday. On the first day of the week, its usually basic (fish and chips, pie etc). Rooms were spacious. Bit dated but add to the Tudor charm.”
