”Room was modern, clean and well presented. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. As an English speaking visitor, have staff that spoke good English was a great help. Also the WW1 display in the hotel is excellent.”

”Room was small and very simple. The room was cold when we arrived, luckily the heater worked well. Bathroom door didn't close at all. Beds were ok to sleep in but area was noisy and walls so thin we woke up many times during the night because the noises from other rooms and outside. ”

”From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff were really friendly and the hotel itself is situated in a beautiful town with beautiful surroundings. We had a lovely dinner, with complimentary starter, which was delicious. The room was basic (e.g. no tea/coffee making facilities, simple shower) but was clean and comfortable. Our family enjoyed our stay!”

”A remarkable place to stay. As a hotel it does have it's limitations- light and soundproofing are both quite poor. However the bed was very comfy, the WiFi was decent, the bathrooms were very clean and the shower was good. Decent continental breakfast. Very friendly staff. The main reason for staying here is to experience this historic building and the stories it has to tell. From that point of view it is amazing. So no it isn't the most luxurious place I've ever stayed but it might well be...

”I made a mistake on the dates when I reserved this room. I actually showed up a week early. The owner said no problem and gave us beautiful room. The building was the former city hall and they have completely remodeled the building into a great hotel. Rooms look brand new, spacious with the nicest attached bathroom that I have ever seen in a hotel. This is a wonderful hotel. You can not go wrong with this hotel! We loved it!”
