”I've stayed in alot of hotels and motels over the years working construction. This hotel was horrible, extremely dirty, just gross place. Definitely not worth the 100.00 dollars just because it's by a lake. Just avoid this place. Very dirty.”

”Muy limpio”

”Better selection for breakfast would be nice”

”The staff was welcoming and friendly. The automatic entry doors were inoperative throughout our stay and had to be slid open and closed each time we entered or exited the building. The room was dirty and the comforter on the bed had clearly not been changed or washed for quite a while. The secondary door lock was missing from the door indicating that the door had been kicked open. The shower was dangerous as there were no grab handles anywhere and the hot water was sometimes lukewarm (not...

”They had an issue with their listing on Expedia. I had screenshot and everything. Expedia wouldn't refund me, because the hotel wouldn't. Unacceptable, when I had screenshot of the issue. Very unprofessional. Front desk employee was not helpful at all and very condescending. No help whatsoever. They are only after your money. I should dispute the charge. I will NEVER book through a 3rd party. Will NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER HOLIDAY INN. Wish I could give 0 stars. Do yourself a favor and stay,...

”Easy to get to our room. Bed and pillows were amazing. Lovely location. Having a restaurant on stewas great. I would stay here again.”

”B&B’s are pretty much the same. This one is different. The breakfast was delicious, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and everything was well thought out. The difference? Jenny and John. Some of the friendliest and gracious people we have ever met.We felt at home as soon as we arrived. This is the kind of place you tell your friends about. We wanted to return as soon as we got home. We’ll be back!”

”This place was awful! I reserved a room through hotels.com and when I went to check in, the rude guy at the front desk said they do not use online reservations and refused to let me check in. I showed him the confirmation email and he still said they do not use online reservations. I had to find another hotel to stay at and I had already been charged for this one. Luckily the hotel next door (Rocky Mount Inn) was very nice and the front desk clerk was super helpful.”

”We had a fantastic family stay at Bernard’s Landing. The condo was clean, comfortable, quiet, and a great home base for exploring Smith Mountain Lake. The location was the biggest highlight. We enjoyed the private lakeside beach, pools, walking paths, waterfront views, and beautiful sunsets without needing to drive everywhere. We rented a pontoon from The Dock at Smith Mountain Lake and spent a full day boating, tubing, swimming, and relaxing on the water. We also visited Smith Mountain Lake...

”We loved the tiny cabin! Great communication with our host and plenty of amenities for a weekend trip to the mountains.”

”It was overpriced for the low quality of the facility. I observed old stained carpet throughout the building (except for the lobby), stained sheets and bed coverings in my room. The carpet was peeling off the wall where it was serving as a baseboard covering. The room had not had the needed air freshener sprayed in it. There was not a hot breakfast awaiting us in the dining area. The door hinges, of the room next door to mine, needed some WD-40 to stop the loud squeaking whenever it was...

”The place is pristine. We only stayed one night because we were visiting a client in the area and needed to come back. But the place invites you to stay longer. The condo has everything we need. They even had 7 different types of coffee. The view is amazing, and we even cooked. The kitchen is well equipped. The bedroom is spacious, and the bed is super comfortable. We would love to stay longer.”

”Good vacation, nice place to stay. As advertised.”

”Wonderful condo overlooking the lake.”
