”The Inn was a wonderful surprise. Updated, clean with historic charms and right in the center of town. Walking distance to dining, shops and the wharf. They had a lovely pool and our room was lovely. The dining (breakfast) experience could have been better, but the bar was fun for an evening nightcap. Bonus: great oyster bar right across the street!”

”Lovely accommodations however, they changed our key code after the first nights stay and then it wouldn’t work. We came in late and couldn’t get into our room. No one would answer the 1-800 number. If the restaurant staff had not still been cleaning the restaurant after 10:00pm I don’t know what we would have done. ”During my road-trip planning, I found the Old Carrabelle Hotel and was immediately intrigued by its old nostalgic charm. When I arrived, the hotel was easy to find and parking was right in front. It was a self check in process (so check your email upon arrival for instructions). It's an old bed and breakfast in so you are assigned a room and room key (I was in the Hemingway room).
