”One of the co-owners helped me carry my suitcase upstairs. The entire ambiance felt like I was staying in a new friend's home for the Christmas holiday. And the room was already warm when I entered it. They ancticipated every need! The bed was quite comfy. And the bedding was TOP NOTCH. One suggestion: An ambient night light or sensor would help guide sleepy people to the toilet without needing to turn a light on. ”

”Loved the late nineteenth century decor. We took full advantage of the sitting room to entertain guests. Great to walk around Fredericksburg and enjoy the unique shops, restaurants, and history. Overall a luxurious and interesting place to stay.”

”This was a great property and centrally located within walking distance of all downtown Fredericksburg has to offer. Check-in and check-out were easy and the property owner was responsive to all questions we had. We would 100% stay here again!”

”There was no free breakfast offered as promised on the Expedia site due to renovation work going on at the property. Our room was fairly clean minus a string of dental floss on the bathroom floor. The carpet in our room was very old. I can see why they are renovating.”

”This is an absolutely wonderful property. To start, the host was extremely welcoming and great at communicating. The house was exactly as advertised, super warm and inviting. It is obvious a lot of thought went into selecting the amenities and that is important to me. The beds and linens were quality and the bath towels fluffy and absorbent. The back yard was nice and fully fenced and, although we had just had snow, I can tell it will be an excellent space to spend evenings when spring/summer...

”Quiet, peaceful, comfortable home in the Country. This home was perfect for our extended family Thanksgiving gathering. Everyone from grandparents to a four year old enjoyed the time together; playing board games, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit, and watching movies, parades and football on the two big screen monitors.
