”The air conditioner worked fine. The room appeared clean to the eye but upon a closer level it was not! Toothpaste on the mirror and faucet, corners of the room and bathroom dirty. The shower did not drain and backed up around your feet. There was a nasty rubber mat that we didn’t even want to touch hanging in the shower. ”Breakfast was a major letdown, everything including coffee wasn’t being restocked in a timely manner. Guests had to repeatedly knock the kitchen door for food items, even then they didn’t materialize. The room walls had stains on them and elevators had a bad odor. They charged 3 star prices for what wouldn’t even pass for a 1-2 star experience. I think being next to freeway allows them to get away with it. This experience has turned me off this hotel chain.”

”This is a beautiful couple or small family retreat center. The pictures do not do it justice. Beautiful 4 acres to roam, build a fire for smores, and comes with a very large private jacuzzi with powerful massage jets.Eric is a wonderful host--very communicative and responsive. Will bend over backwards to accommodate. Very convenient to I45 as a central Texas gathering point.Would highly recommend! ”
