”I was traveling and decided to stay at the Hotel Broadalbin. It is a nicely restored 170+ yr old hotel with restaurant/bar on the main street in a small village. Had a nice chat with the owner. It has the feel of stepping back in time. All the rooms were restored a few years ago and have that 19th century feel, antique furniture, etc. The bed was comfortable. I liked the smart Roku TV. I stayed there again the following week when i came back through. So much nicer than any of the chain...

”We love this place and the owner Jenn! We are coming back, hopefully soon! We had fun in the tavern down stairs and slept like babies all weekend in our room. This place is one of a kind! We’ve stayed at dozens of places throughout the Adirondacks and this one is by far, our favorite! ”

”This is a low-end motel. There is incessant traffic noise from the highway. The only nearby eating establishment is Star Cafe, a typical greasy spoon with minimal fare. The only saving graces are the adjacent laundromat and the price. There is also a minimart by the gas station for survival needs. ”
