”This place was a very unique stay. Lots of history here. Room was nice and bed was very comfortable. Shower had great pressure. No issues with the stay. Would recommend.”

”The room had dirty towels in the bathroom when I asked for clean towels those were stained yellow they wasn't white at all. No elevator and the halls smelled like old cigarettes and old carpet.I waited until I got home to shower. Breakfast was coffee plain bagels and a blueberry muffin I passed I woke up super early to get out of there”

”Paul and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! Lovely old stately home converted to BnB, with delightful breakfast next day. The suites are large and very comfortable and just dripping with classic furnishings appropriate to a late 19th century stately home.”

”We love this place and the owner Jenn! We are coming back, hopefully soon! We had fun in the tavern down stairs and slept like babies all weekend in our room. This place is one of a kind! We’ve stayed at dozens of places throughout the Adirondacks and this one is by far, our favorite! ”

”Cons:When we first walked in to the rental the first thing we smelled was the stench of cigarette smoke!!! We bought fragrance spray but didn't work. There were two in window air conditioners that were not sealed. Because of that the rental was infested with mosquitos and other little flying bugs that were attracted to the inside lights and us! We were consistently killing them. Also the ones we we weren't able to kill just died and were laying on the counters, floor and counter tops (bathroom...

”Chris was very responsive to my messages and allowed to reschedule my booking to a different weekend. The caboose is gorgeous and so is the location. We did a photo shoot with the kids inside. It was so adorable!”
