”We had to ask for a new room as there was a 1/2 inch gap at the front door and a musty smell. It didn’t seem right to get a upcharge for basic expectations. The new room was better but not by a lot. Stains on the carpet and our room was not cleaned during our 2 day stay. 😞 if you’re on a budget and don’t mind rougher conditions then you might not mind. The only issue is WiFi which is really slow and does not always work. At the same time the mobile coverage at least for T mobile was non-existent so the WiFi is even more ilportant than elsewhere.”

We turned around and went back to the registration m. We demanded our money back but the woman behind the counter said Expedia doesn’t pay them until the next day. ”Usually we’re Marriott people, but no Marriott near Capital National Park. Reviews for this hotel were average, so I wasn’t sure. We stayed two nights, and turns out, this is one of the closest hotels to the entrance of the park. If you want to be steps from Capital National Park, this is THE spot. It’s no-frills, but clean, quiet, and safe, and I could park literally right outside our door.
