”A lovely quaint hotel in the middle of Cauterets, just a few minutes walk from a variety of eateries. The hotel has lots of traditional character, but has also been updated to provide modern in-room services such as coffee pod machines, refrigerators and good, powerful showers. The only downside is the lack of dedicated parking, but that applies equally to almost all hotels in the centre of Cauterets. ”Lovely house on the side of the hill. Just three rooms. We were very well fed and very well taken care of by the owner and her family. I loved being able to sit out and look at the mountains and hear the river down below. Very hard to find though. Make an effort to be sure you have clear specific directions to the house before you arrive.”

”Stunning views from the room and very friendly staff. Parking easy (and free) in perfect spot for hiking in the area. Nice little village for a couple of nights stay with a couple of good places to eat.”

”Great hosts! We arrived off season and on a Monday - the day the Pyrenees go on a diet! No restaurants in the town were open on arrival! Even a reservation for Tuesday was a challenge, but the hosts stepped up and found us a nice restaurant in the neighboring town. Perfect base to see three legendary places in the French Pyrenees ”
