”...at least in terms of the money-quality ratio. The view from the hotel is STUNNING. The beds are comfortable. The pool and patio decor is beautiful. The service is great. The only downside is that four four-person rooms with the mezzanine get very hot in the mezzanine.”

”A wonderful family owned boutique hotel with kind and friendly staff. Though we had to drive up a very steep hill to reach the hotel and tight parking situation, they helped us park safely. Amazing breakfast with a view on their rooftop terrace!”

”Very friendly and helpful family, delicious breakfast, very nice wooden roof in room. There is limited parking in the area so if you need parking space you would need to let them know in advance. From the room you have a great view over the city but it comes with climbing up and down the street! ”

”The scenery in this valley was gorgeous. My hiking, biking, & walking experience perfect. The natives were friendly people. The hotel restaurant was awesome. From the soup & salads to the roasted bbq lamb to the chicken & “rosnisat” AWESOME. The staff was nice. The proprietors were on site and very caring to their guests. “I’LL BE BACK””

”If you want to see a traditional Albanian home that is now a hotel this is the place to go to. The staff are wonderful! Beautiful outdoor area for relaxing or having a drink. It’s a truly magical place. I’m definitely coming back!!”

”Arrived at hotel and was double charged for booking (by Expedia and front office staff) at checkin. Staff/Manager apologetic and refund the difference in cash.Was initially given a car park view room with balcony over a smoking area and cigarette smell coming up from below. Was promptly given a new room overlooking the river. Excellent hotel and facilities, staff friendly and everything clean. No USB outlet in room.”

”We loved staying at Amalia’s house. Everything was spotless and cozy, and very peaceful and quiet. The courtyard is beautiful and it’s very easy to access the main areas of Gjirokastra with a quick walk up the hill. We’d love to come stay here again!”
