”Staff welcoming, clean neat motel. Breakfast was adequate had coffee several choices on juice, waffles, yogurt, muffins and cereal. The retro look was neat. Even microwaves were retro. Room had microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Should I ever be in Silver City again will definitely stay at LuLu”

”Nice staff and clean facilities. They do need to repair the card entry on the rear door, it created a problem for a more direct access for the rear of the property where my room was located but other than that a very pleasant stay.”

”Wonderful staff. Angela was very helpful she checked us in we came from another hotel that was terrible! she helped us get settled even brought us a cart for our luggage! Very clean, pool was nice and breakfast was good everyday! Thank you”

”I had a relaxing stay at the Murray. The location allowed me to take a morning walk through the neighborhood. The staff was very pleasant and friendly.”

”It’s the middle of June and the pool was out for “maintenance”. There was no dog fee online but I got charged in person. There was a large stain in the middle do the carpet of the bedroom. I found long hairs near the ceiling of the bathroom and it took hours for the room to cool down when we first arrived. Breakfast was basic and repeated both sat and sunday”

”Absolutely terrible. I don’t mind an outdated room as long as it’s clean. This room appeared to be, but I was woken around midnight by bugs crawling on me. I turned on the light and found about a dozen bed bugs, including several full-grown adults. I immediately gathered my belongings and left. The next few hours were spent trying to decontaminate everything. I had to stop at a laundromat, clean my belongings, and detail my car to avoid bringing the infestation with me. I ended up getting only...

”Absolutely nothing! the pictures if this facility are very misleading. There are wires hanging down from the ceiling . The white blankets and sheets had black spots and the paint was peeling and you can tell the door locks had to be changed from the doors being broken down. Curtains hanging down half torn! Roaches everywhere! Just terrible i left and went elsewhere it was so bad !!”

”Overall, we really enjoyed the stay and would stay there again. Two minor concerns: There are several dogs in the area, and their barking can be an annoyance until the quiet down later in the evening. Use of the kitchen is limited by the fact you can only operate one electrical appliance at time. The cook top is a hot plate and there are a toaster oven and a microwave, so you have plan out the sequence you cook your food if you want to pan fry, bake and warm up something for a meal.”

”Amenities were as described and host was most gracious. The in residence dog, Blue, was a friendly addition to our stay of 3 nights. Relaxing soak in hot tub and hummingbirds were a daily treat. Would highly recommend this location as the retreat it promises and we will stay again when back in Silver City area.”
