”The breakfast was well below the level of inexpensive local hotels. Breakfast staff was slow paced and unmotivated. We expected more on this part. TV in room wouldn't turn on. The place was beautiful and we loved the history. Met nice people. ”

”First impression was the parking lot; it is rough and very uneven. We arrived at dark and there was one other person waiting to check in at the time, but no one was at the desk. She called the hotel several times with no answer and then someone finally came out to help us. I used a 3rd party site to book. ”Good hotel for the price. I liked the refrigerator with the freezer. I was able to refreeze my ice blocks for my cooler. very spacious. good parking, close to the room I was in. good guest services.”

”Parking ok if you got there early. Hotel is very old and it looked like it. Two trucks sitting in parking lot partially disassembled. Pooled filled with dirt. I only met two staff members. One didnt speaked good English. I will say I slept decent and warm. I stayed for the price but even 72 dollars is too much. No breakfast of any type. Just don't. ”

”this is an ok hotel, but the reason for the low rating is that when I walked into the lobby to check in it was just like I had entered the set of a Cheech and Chong movie. the smell of p*t would knock you down it was so overwhelming. I got a buzz waiting to check in. I could smell it all the way down the hallway and around 2 corners to our room, but fortunately not in the room. I don't know who is running this hotel, but that is just unacceptable.”

”This cabin is unbelievable! All the amenities, spacious, great views of the lake as well as lake access, and the host had even decorated for the holidays. We especially loved the screened-in porch with fire table for hanging out in the evening.”

The balcony porch rockers offer a shady afternoon respite after your day.The owners were very helpful and accommodating. This is a second floor apartment stair accessible only.”
