”This was a basic motel on the main road to / from Waihi. There was a very good restaurant nearby across the street.”

”Clean, functional, comfortable bed. Good selection of tea, coffee, etc.”

Ulkosalla...

”A great wee holiday cabin in a lovely spot.exceptionally clean . Appreciated being able to have our dog stay. Host communicated well and was friendly.”

”Restful, rustic and with many cute artistic touches. Loved the private outdoor bath. Close to the gorge with great swimming on a very hot summer weekend. Wonderful walking or cycling opportunities. ”

”Quiet and comfortable. We had everything we needed.”

”The house and cabins allowed my family of 15 to enjoy time together but also have their own space. The garden is beautiful with spaces to relax and play games. The owner is lovely and communication easy.”

”Loved our stay. We will be back”

”This was an excellent place to stay. We were given a warm welcome by the host and several dogs! The tiny house was in a paddock with sheep, a horse and chickens but was so peaceful. It was very clean and comfortable and, although compact, it had everything we needed including some breakfast items. We enjoyed listening to the birds and loved it so much that we wished we had been staying longer. If you want a peaceful retreat, this is the place to go.”

”Good”

”Very tidy. Host was awesome and easy going”

”Had a great couple of nights. Excellent wheelchair access, amazing sea view, friendly chickens, delicious free apples. Perfect spot if you're heading to Miranda to view shore birds.”

”We hired both baches and it was perfect for several groups of families with young kids. Would happily stay again. ”

”The restaurant was closed, place was locked when I arrived, tv didn't work but wi-fi was good”

”I would recommend staying somewhere else. Bugs everywhere in the room, especially when it was night. I stayed in room 10 which sits in the sun all day. There are no blackout curtains for all the windows so the room gets very warm. The water from the sink tasted like dirt. But worst of all, The husband that runs the motel is a rude and impatient human being. Stay somewhere else.”
