”Overall an excellent stay. The decor is dated, but it is clean and the beds are super comfortable. There was a sign at the front desk that the hotel will be updated sometime in 2026.”

”AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST. My blankets were full of pubic hairs ( receptionist didn't even tried to be surprised when I told about pubic hairs in my bed). Floor was so squeaky that you hear people walking in upstairs very loudly. Lobby and 1st floor hallway was under construction and was full of black garbage bags covering floor and walls. In elevator and hallway there was really bad smell of weed. Worst experience I have ever had while sleeping budget hotels.”

”Had to check out early. Front desk told my husband we would have to contact Expedia to get our refund. Expedia tried contacting the hotel and they would not answer/reply to any of their messages.”

”Great staff and warm welcome. Nice location, quiet. Clean and updated facility. No complaints other than the breakfast. They need to up their game for the food and coffee.”

”Do not eat at the Nietos Mexican Restaurant next door. All I ordered was queso and chips. Queso was vivid orange like cheeze whip, lumpy and got cold quickly. The chips are not fresh. Malakoff is just down the road.... The front desk clerk was nice but got impatient because I don't hear well and she had to repeat a lot. Those sconce lights are really bright. Could use a dimmer option. Overall, my stay was good. I would stay there again.”

”The house was great! New & clean! The view was amazing!! Secluded for privacy but very close to lake Athens marina which was great for dinner and cocktails. Highly recommend!!”

”The owner was very nice and responsive. We had an emergency and didn’t get to stay. We did notice that the pool wasn’t ready yet and I think we were the first ones to rent for this season and the bathroom wasn’t very fresh or clean. ”

”Nasty! Extreme amount of mold. This house shouldn’t be allowed to host guest. Dangerous staircase. Curtains not in the walls properly and falling. Roaches on the dishes. No central heat and air. Do not book here! ”
