”The apartment was nice, but definitely not without its problems. The seating in the living room was most uncomfortable and the rooms were always cold. Asked once for heating, but never received an answer so we used the heater in the kitchen. The host was at times unbearable as she kept telling us what to do or not to do repeatedly as if we were children. Through our multiple exchanges, she also mentioned that she was a lawyer. ”The setting and the hotel proper were great. The long corridors to get to our room needed getting used to. The staff were excellent, caring and attentive. We had erroneously not booked the fine dining Madhus and ended up in the Stables, so noisy with young folks that we left for the Glasshouse, best described as a gastro pub.
