”We had a lovely stay at the property. Kimmi was extremely attentive. Dietary requirements were catered for with the host going above and beyond. The property is very quiet, there is only one property for overnight stays. Therefore you will be the only guests at the property.”

”I hope this will get your attention: every time I tried to book this property for the night of that day. I tried several times, but it showed as "unavailable." So i booked another arrangement. But I received a confirmation in the middle of that night. I contacted the owners in the morning by phone and by email, but did not get a response. Same thing with Expedia. So I would like a refund, or a credit to stay there another day, as I am still in the area. I would appreciate a prompt response....

”Stayed for one night in Matsumoto while doing a round trip on a JR East pass. The hotel isn't too far from the station, they even offer a free shuttle. The hotel is somewhat aged but very well kept, with great level of service.”

”A pleasant stay in a convenient location. Though the check in time was late afternoon we arrived earlier, and we were able to store our luggage till check in. The staff were helpful and the property was in a great location, with a decent sized comfortable room and bathroom.”

”We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Morschein. Ample space for a 3 person room in Japan, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, and the hotel was very close to the train station. Very friendly staff”

Perfectly located on Nakamachi-dori and close to all attractions, including Matsumoto Castle, and plenty of amazing food nearby. A memorable and unique, but all too brief stay, definitely one of the hilights of my time in Matsumoto.”
