”Initially I had reservations about the location of this hotel as it seemed a bit of a way from the main town, however it is an easy and enjoyable walk to the town along a quiet and picturesque road above the hotel. It's also a quick and cheap taxi ride. All in all I was very happy with the location as it meant I saw views I might not otherwise have seen. The hotel itself was excellent. ”Visiting Clarkes is like stepping back in time. The architecture of the building makes such a refreshing change from the modern hotels of concrete, glass and over the top air conditioning. Our room was lovely and was beautifully furnished and the public areas of the hotel were also thoughtfully presented. Although some people might find it a little formal, the staff were friendly and polite without exception. We would stay there again without hesitation.”

”Excellent staff. Right from the check in till the check out, everyone was so welcoming. At the reception, restaurants, house keeping, every one was smiling. A special thanks to the travel desk for arranging our tour from Shimla-Manali-Delhi. The driver (Bunty) was very expert. He guided us very well. Very honestly. It was our first stay with Club Mahindra and the experience was awesome so I would love to stay at club mahindra whenever I plan my holidays in future wherever it's available. ”
