”We had a very clean room, spacious. No couch but was comfortable. Very clean pool area and welcoming staff. Our children were very loud in the pool area but we were still treated kindly. Breakfast was alright too. We've chosen to stay here everytime we make the trip to the House on the Rock or Cave of the Mounds because our rooms are always well cleaned and this place has many unique traits for a hotel. Very pleased.”

”The tv did not work the room was dusty and dirty, the hot tub looked like a cesspool, they key entries randomly worked.”

”This is location fit our large group’s needs very well, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was warm and friendly, the location is ideal if you are there for the APT experience and the Mexican Restaraunt was delicious. The walls were a bit thin but we managed just fine. We will definitely plan our next trip with this place in mind.”

”This was an excellent base for our activities in Spring Green. It is located within about 5 minutes of both Taliesen and the summer theatre, in a quiet wooded location. The room we had was comfortable and clean. The staff are very helpful. Enjoying our breakfast in the lounge while watching the many birds outside was a highlight.”

”We checked in and a man was yelling at someone in a very angry voice. Did not feel safe so we left.”

”I loved the place and the town. The bed was very comfortable, and the tub was fun. What I liked the best was the house. There was so much to read and look at. I wish I had booked more nights. I will definitely stay again!”

”Pool room deteriorating badly mold and cracks, pool not heated, pool and hot tub both didn't seem to have enough chemicals.”

”The owner was super friendly. But the room smelled quite musky and the AC was changed (turned warmer) while we were out of the room as well as the garbage being cleaned out without us approving for serviceOverall the stay was fine, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. Loved the mid century modern look. ”

”I like led that it was an eco hotel with nice sheets and comforter with nice view from the window. Helpful to have fridge in the room and it was kind to have ice waiting for us when we checked in. Not sure why ceiling looks like plywood and there is often not a person at the front desk, but those were minor issues. Conveniently located.”

”Sweet little cottage that could use stronger Wi-Fi and a shower curtain that didn’t feature snowmen in late March. The coffee maker did not work, totally clogged :( we ran some vinegar thru but it needs another round.Someone in our group sat on the chair in the queen bedroom and the chair broke. Luckily no one was hurt.”
