”Before booking know exactly what you are getting into. No phone connection or internet. 90 minute drive in a van from parking up the mountain to the lodge. All meals are eaten collectively, which is great for meeting interesting people. But guests are 90 percent Québécois and enjoy socialising in French. This is a place to do 2 hikes per day. Lots if variety for expert to advanced intermediate hikers. Less for less advanced hikers. Food is excellent. Guides are wonderful ”

”The unit is attached to several other units, which wasn’t entirely clear to us from the listing photos. This meant we had neighbours on the other side of a connecting wall, although fortunately, it was not noisy at all during our stay. The view and the overall installations were beautiful, and the unit was very comfortable. However, about ten minutes after checking in, a man knocked on our door and explained that he was running late on his rounds and that the unit had not yet been cleaned —...

”We had a great visit. It was clean, the furniture was comfortable, and everything was well kept. We couldn't figure out the ventilation / AC systems to get it to turn on, but the weather was wonderful and felt great in the house with the windows open and there were fans available.We enjoyed the property: pool table, arcade, BBQ grill, outdoor seating along with the wonderful view. We did alot of hiking in the area and ventured up to Gespe for a day. The local grocery stores are within 5 to 15...

”This house is great and conveniently located to get to and from many places in Quebec City. We had everything we needed at the house, and the host was very helpful. There were no surprises, it was consistent with the listing and we really enjoyed our stay.”
