”Upon check-in late in the evening we were given TWICE a keycard to a room that already had people sleeping in them. The cards also stopped working during our stay, which can be problematic during the night time since the reception is not manned after 11 p.m. Located in the new part of the town, 10 min from the Forum shopping mall and the train station and 15 min from the charming old town centre.”

”This was by far the most unique and cool place I’ve ever stayed. The room we booked was for large groups and it was the entire tower you see in the picture. There are a lot of stairs and it is a stone spiral staircase. Smaller rooms are also available in the other part of the castle but I did not see them because there was another guest. The owner is the one doing the renovation and it’s not completely finished yet but the rooms that he has finished are stunning. Looks and feels like a medieval...

”Sehr freundlicher Empfang, freundliches Personal. Beim Frühstück ist für jeden was dabei, selbst als ich über den Feiertagen einige Tage allein da war. Vielen Dank dafür. Schöne Ausstattung und saubere Zimmer. Schön eingerichtetes Restaurant. Leckere Speisen. Sehr Ruhige Lage. Es gibt auch eine Haltestelle vom RMV in der Nähe. Hier viele Wege zum wandern. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit gerne immer wieder, ich werde noch öfters da sein. ”

”One night business trip together with customers to Wetzlar. Hotel was easy to find, the advertised free parking was a bit cramped but totally fine. Just a few steps from old town with Christmas market etc. Breakfast selection was adequate, and the bread was super fresh (10 points for that). Checkin checkout quick and easy. Will stay again next time.”

”Meine Schwester und ich und unsere beiden Hunde hatten einen schönen Kurzurlaub. Das Highlight ist die schöne Lage im Wald, die Sauna und der Whirlpool. Leider kann man das Eingangstor nicht schließen. ”
