”We were excited to find a very reasonably priced place to stay for a spontaneous trip to Lake of the Woods. When we arrived, there was a very strong musty smell that burned my nose and throat. It seemed like the building had some rotting or mold issues that were covered up by a fresh coat of paint. I messaged the owners to let them know we couldn’t stay there because of the fumes- especially since we had an infant with us, and received no reply. ”Easy to find, a cute cabin deep in the woods. Big windows almost makes you feel like your camping. All wood inside with big timbers gives the feeling of you’re living back in the 1800’s. The weather was cold so the fire place came in handy.There was no oven which was a little surprising but there was adequate electric appliances to cook what we had.The owners were really easy to work and answered all of our questions.Would highly recommend it!!”
