”We enjoyed our stay and it was set up well! Having direct access to the Little Platte Lake and ability to rent a boat to go fishing was an added bonus. We would definitely stay there again. ”

”Our family had a wonderful stay. We really needed just for naps and spending the night. Had wonderful tv and able to stream. Only thing it doesn’t have is a stove so we creatively figured out ways to microwave and use the toaster oven. We went to many places from staying here. Close to anywhere. We made wonderful memories. Host is great. Enjoy staying here”

”Property was the perfect home base to explore Michigan. Less than 20 minutes from Sleeping Bears Dunes and less than 5 miles from beach front at Lake Michigan, it allowed us time to explore instead of wasting time driving. Teenage sons enjoyed the lake and boats provided with the rental. Cabin was clean and spacious for our family of 4. We’d stay again! ”

”This is your typical Michigan cabin. It was clean, had everything you needed for cooking and relaxing. It is very quiet with woods everywhere. Great firepit. Very relaxing. It is close to towns, food and beaches. The fall colors were beautiful. We would book this again for great weekend getaway. If you are looking to be on the river with a dock, you have to walk a little distance. This is not on the river”

”Twin Birch Resort "Red Laker" cabin was as advertised. Quaint; CLEAN; Quiet, beautiful view of lake. All that we hoped it would be for 2 adults. Will try to return again! ”

”The cabin is nice, a little dated. The stairs going to the second floor are a bit challenging. The detatched studio is a bit cold for the winter stay. Overall nice location, clean and well stocked.”

”Everything was as described in the listing. The cottage was very clean and cozy. It was located in a great location… Right off of Platte Lake, close to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park, Traverse City, and Frankfort. Laura responded quickly and was very helpful with any questions that I had. It was our first trip to Michigan and Laura help make our trip an amazing one!”

”1950s-60s style cottage — a cottage, not a house. Perfect feeing. Excellent location right on the lake. Clean and comfortable — except for the sofa. Could use a more comfortable sofa, but sometimes sofa beds can be like that.”

”We frequent this area a few times a year but this was our first staying closer to Platte Lake. The property was well maintained and secluded. The house was very well kept. We had a minor hurdle during check in but John was incredibly responsive and it was resolved quickly and respectfully. We will definitely add this to our list for future visits.”

”We had a great weekend! The house is amazing! Plenty of room and more for our family (12) We loved the hot tub, steam shower and sauna. I only wish we would’ve booked for longer (next time) The property manager was awesome as well, got back to me w texts super fast and helpful! Would recommend this place for sure!! ”

”Wow, this place is central to so many great spots. In one week we did so much around the area. My 2.5YO and 6YO loved the property. The water is shallow all the way out to the buoys. My 6 year old and wife walked out to the buoys 4x. My 2YO loved playing in the water but mostly loved digging in the beach on the property with all the provided toys & tools. The flower garden quickly became their scooter “race track” where they raced around loving life. One thing to watch for with the littles is...
