”Prime location to experience Michigan in prime time. Personally I love this area year-round, but Summertime in Michigan, in this neck of the woods is beyond precious. This property was clean and quiet and most importantly, properly priced. The loft is air conditioned with plenty of natural light and is adequately appointed. The owners were on site and available, promptly answering inquiries. I would absolutely stay here again. It is located in the very heart of one of the most beautiful places...

”Went with my 2 sisters and mom and we loved the place. Only downside to it was the lack of AC. The weekend we were there was a hot one and while the place provides ceiling and portable fans, only one of the portable fans worked. Luckily we had brought 2 portable fans as well so we were able to cool it off the best we could. Otherwise the place is perfect for a getaway. ”

”Property was the perfect home base to explore Michigan. Less than 20 minutes from Sleeping Bears Dunes and less than 5 miles from beach front at Lake Michigan, it allowed us time to explore instead of wasting time driving. Teenage sons enjoyed the lake and boats provided with the rental. Cabin was clean and spacious for our family of 4. We’d stay again! ”

”I appreciated the extra washclothes, towels, pillows and hangers! The place was clean and comfortable. It was nice that there was soap, plenty of toliet paper, shampoo & conditioner, and a fan for every room. ”

”The cabin is nice, a little dated. The stairs going to the second floor are a bit challenging. The detatched studio is a bit cold for the winter stay. Overall nice location, clean and well stocked.”

”This is your typical Michigan cabin. It was clean, had everything you needed for cooking and relaxing. It is very quiet with woods everywhere. Great firepit. Very relaxing. It is close to towns, food and beaches. The fall colors were beautiful. We would book this again for great weekend getaway. If you are looking to be on the river with a dock, you have to walk a little distance. This is not on the river”

”Wonderful spot for our summer vacation! We loved rowing on the lake and hanging out by the campfire. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the many gathering spaces were beautiful and large enough for us to be together. We loved it here. ”

”1950s-60s style cottage — a cottage, not a house. Perfect feeing. Excellent location right on the lake. Clean and comfortable — except for the sofa. Could use a more comfortable sofa, but sometimes sofa beds can be like that.”

”My whole family loved this cabin. Our favorite part about it was how close it was to all the places we love. Five minutes to Platte Beach. Five minutes to Cherry bowl. 20 minutes to Frankfort. 40 minutes to Front Street in Traverse City. There’s also an ice cream shop a five minute walk away. Little Platte Lake isn’t the best swimming lake, but it’s great for paddling around on if you have kayaks which we did numerous times. Check in was a breeze.
