”Bathroom very dark, bulbs missing. Room was next to service door so at 5am on a Saturday morning was woken with a lorry either loading or unloading. Maids came in the room as bin was emptied, but never replenished the tea, sugars and milk, or make the bed!!”

”Great hotel. Great staff. Great amenities.
Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was really good. Lots of choice, hot and tasty. The pool area was a bonus. We ate in the restaurant. Food was good. Good atmosphere.
Overall a great couple of days away.”

”Stayed many times so won't repeat except to say the food is always exceptional and the staff are super friendly/helpful.
The Sauna and Jacuzzi were broken on this visit, which was a shame as I was only there one night.
Improvements: The Front Door to the Hotel is SO heavy, could an automatic Power Door not be fitted?
The Parking - Although Third Party needs sorting. The tarmac at the entrance as you turn of the main road is and in the Car Park itself has massive craters in it that will...

”We loved our time staying at Midsummer Barn. The pictures online do not do it justice. It has character and charm. It is spacious and comfortable and well equipped for everything a family needs for time away. There were fresh eggs and cider to welcome us which was a lovely touch. The view is spectacular and the area is very quiet and peaceful. It’s easy access to motorways, but feels miles away. Yvonne was a responsive, gracious host.
