”Our room's carpet was so very filthy that we couldn't go barefoot for fear of picking up something unhealthy. Our heater/cooling machine flashed fire at the plug and smoked. We turned it off it was suppose to ice outside. Oddly enough our room was Stifling warm all night. Found out that there is a boiler room next door. That room needs some re-structuring and over all re-haul or DON'T rent it out! I told the staff when checking out and even took photos to show her of the carpet. She wasn't too...

”The Wi-Fi was the best that we have seen during our three weeks trip in five states. The room was clean and beds also were very comfortable. Free parking was an extra bonus. The breakfast was basic but complimentary.”

”Great boutique hotel in historic building with nice mediterranean restaurant and taproom on the first floor. Staff is super friendly and helpful and rooms were very clean.”

”Dirty. Sheets had others people’s hair and crumbs on them. Floors weren’t swept well.”

”This motel was better than I expected. The owner was so friendly. It was clean and I felt safe. It was comfortable and I slept well!”

”The motel is held by a bank so little to nothing is being kept up. The pool is closed and the tarp is no longer stretched across the pool. Looks terrible and may be a safety hazard. Staff is doing the best they can but they can’t do much with old, worn furnishings and gray well-used towels.”

”The new owner is wonderful! The whole trip was just perfect. The historical home was beautiful, well maintained, an antique lovers paradise. We feel very fortunate to have found such a treasure for our little get away! Jeanne was a delight and her hosting skills are amazing with a delicious breakfast, awesome charcuterie and wine, and tons of ever growing knowledge on Trinidad. Will definitely be back!”

”Super super cute place. It’s fun to just walk around and look at everything on the wall then get a good laugh. The house had everything we needed. It was within walking distance to the main street you can smoke weed in the house. Doesn’t get better than that! And our there dogs absolutely enjoyed it as well.”

”It was a very nice place to stay at on our trip.”

”We loved it!”

”It was really nice inside. The steps are a little narrow and steep”

”Like others said, the pictures really don't do it justice. Hosts were excellent, the location was amazing, and my only regret was not staying longer. Would definitely stay again!”
