The locations is fantastic with the town a short walk away, where there was a Spar, brasserie & Indian restaurant (highly recommended). On arrival the pool was murky and dirty, and we had to clean the day bed sheets, the owner it got sorted with help from a local friend and the hoover was run daily. ”Beautiful gite with all the facilities you could think of. A lovely welcome package of bread, butter, jam, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar, eggs and a bottle of sparkling wine. The hosts Fran and Johnny were on hand if needed and very friendly along with their lovely children. The gite was well decorated and very clean. The pool was extremely appreciated in temps of 42 degree.Could not fault anything. Would definitely recommend this holiday home to anyone. Local areas have lots to offer. We will...

”Beautiful house set within extensive gardens amidst the tranquil Charentes countryside. The House is comfortable, well equipped and full of character. The large garden is private and fully enclosed, with lots of quiet corners to sit and read or just admire the view. The fenced off pool area is excellent - and features ample seats. The Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. All in all this is a wonderful place for a holiday with friends or family in a beautiful corner of south west France.”
