Hae hotelleja – Lee County

”This "hotel" is approximately 28 units total. No elevators. The entire lower level is rented as housing units.(my best guess, subsidized housing) The place was filthy. There was, we believe, blood splatter on the bathroom door and it didn't shut. The bed skirts were filthy with what I suspect was mold. Floor and walls patched. Literally nowhere else around to go. ”Everything was great but we weren’t aware the bathroom was disconnected from our cabin until we got there. We talked to guests at another cabin and they said the same thing, so it could be made clearer that there are no bathrooms in the cabins. Hot tub was great and everything was clean and the check in/out process was very easy.”

”The cabin and surrounding grounds are exactly as described. While it's off-grid, it's still really nice. Yes, it's in the woods so there might be bugs or leaf debris. Yes, it's an outhouse, so it will smell like an outhouse, but that is all part of being in the great outdoors. There are cute solar-powered lights inside and out. ”Everything was great. The only problem is that the bed is too high for anyone short. My mom is 5’4” and couldn’t get on it. I was able to since I’m 5’8”. She slept on the couch. If you can lower it a few inches would be good. The location was perfect for us since we were going to a family reunion in town on Sunday. The host warned me of the music but it turned out not as loud as I expected. Will consider it again for the future.”
