”We stayed here for a family reunion and I do not recommend if you come here with children or those who have a difficult time getting around - the steps in the house are pretty dangerous (we actually had an aunt fall and break her foot) and the dock is also not great to have children around. The property has not been well-maintained and there was water getting into the house and many dead trees on the property dropping branches during a storm. The kitchen felt bare-bones, it didn't have baking...

”My daughter and I loved this country retreat. The owners are very hospitable and accommodating and the property is beautiful. If you are lucky like I was, you may get a glimpse of some wildlife as well. Thank you for everything Katheryn and Ronnie. We hope to visit again in the future.”

”Overall everything was great! Wonderful little ‘tree house’ experience for a weekend getaway. Check-in was easy with good communication. Kitchen, living area, and bedroom area was all nice. Outdoor shower was exhilarating. Note, however, there are no closets to hang clothing. We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary weekend!!”

”Peaceful and calm. Would definitely stay again. Private rejuvenation retreat, Even when it rains your eyes can feast the past for hours. The exquisite sound of the screen doors as they make their way to the snap of a close. Nostalgic, the kind that opens doors and gets banana pudding made at 1030pm ending with a sit in the porch. The history alone is worth the stay. Can’t wait to see what they do next!. ”

Conveniently located for our needs, making the trips to Lake Norman, Mooresville and SC very nice. Everything you could need for a brief or long stay, is surely what this home offers.
