”The hotel is amazing, the location being on the Zambezi rivers makes for stunning views especially at sunset. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with any question or request you have. The rooms were nice, modern and very clean. Mosquito repellent was provided in the rooms which was nice to have. The breakfast had a wide varied selection with everything you would expect all to a high standard. The only thing to note is that as the hotel is a little bit out of town which is a highlight...

”Good value for money. Staff in the reseption was very friendly and helpful organising gamedrives and boat cruises. Breakfast was good with muesli,fruits, eggs and toast. It easily kept you going on 'till lunch time. The wild life was near you.We saw hippos basically every day, as bar, restaurant and pool were overlooking Maramba river. Also two small crocodiles were patrolling the river. Wi-Fi was slow, but sufficient. The menu in the restaurant had some good choices but limited availability....

”I can't recommend it. On the next day after our arrival, our room was visited twice on the same day without permission when we were out of the room. They left the lock open after their visit. A hundred dollars was stolen from my wallet - not all of the money, just some. So was it someone from the staff? 100 dollars is a big money and stealing is disgusting. The manager offered us a room upgrade and free breakfast as compensation. I can appreciate that but how do you compensate the feeling of...

”The staff were friendly and nice, Bridget especially :) The small breakfast was tasty. Our room had enough space, though it was a bit outdated, you get what you pay for :D Mosquito repellent and mosquito net were provided, though we didn't see any mosquitos on our trip. Bathroom was ok. Our room was cleaned every day. Wi-fi was a bit slow but worked most of the time. There's also a little pool by the main building to cool you off after exploring the area. We can recommend this lodge for budget...

”This property isnt as advertised unfortunately we couldnt even spend a night here after checking in we had to check out almost immediately and they refused to refund us our money despite not spending even one night at this property. All 6 days lost no refund. They inconvenienced us and we will never book them again neither can we advise anyone to do so. This is day light robbery ”

Why stay at a hotel when you can stay at a very nice property like this one. It is close to all the amenities, restaurants, etc. The prices are also excellent. Gloria has a nice team and manages the property well. ”
