”The location isn’t a popular spot but as a place to rest before the next destination I couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended!”

”It was a little smaller than expected. Bathrooms weren't too far, and were relatively clean. Nice fire pit out front. Missing i extra adirondak chair possibly. Not terribly private. Quaint nonetheless.”

”Made very welcome in the downstairs barn suite and had three comfortable nights' sleep. Enjoyed breakfasts and being able to come and go as we pleased. For someone getting on a bit (with a hip replacement) I did find the toilet rather low and the comfortable easy rocking chairs a challenge to get out of! However the positives well outweighed any such challenges.”

”Spacious home on a beautiful lake! Very quiet and relaxing. GPS navigation for the given address is off by about a half mile so pay attention to the lot numbers as you drive in.”

”Great family orientated vacation spot. Our kids enjoyed the dvd collection on the rainy evenings and the kayaks on the sunny days. We all loved the deck and stocked fire pit. Close to Lunenburg’s restaurants and shopping but far enough away to escape the crowds. Great communication from the property owners. We’d stay here again!”

”Blue Jay cottage is a quaint, lovely cottage. The hosts were very responsive whenever we had a question and the cottage had everything we needed. The setting was perfect, right on the water with access for our kayak and paddleboard. Easy access to Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and Bridgewater. They had lots of little extras, in case we forgot anything, like chargers, condiments and all of the necessities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”

”Absolutely adorable and amazing romantic getaway location. This place was so so so cute, quiet and peaceful. The amenities were perfect - kayaks, hot tub, all types of chairs to enjoy the views from outside and inside. The small touches like snacks, keurig, bathrobes and other made the stay just perfection. This is a place that will make everyone else jealous of your vacation. It’s so darn cute. Love love love and highly highly recommend.”

Our hosts were remarkably friendly and helpful while respecting the privacy of their guests. Extraordinary well organized with resource information to make the most of our visit. We would most definitely stay again.”

”Certainly not your typical soulless empty purpose built rental. Jan & George have filled their unique little space with interesting items. We spent three nights and every day noticed something else to look at. The wildlife is incredible, hummingbirds, fish, squirrels, it’s obvious they’re very fond of the property and their humans. And the friendliest dog ever! The water was crystal clear and absolutely beautiful for swimming. If you’re looking for a unique friendly nature surrounded place to...

”Place was really spacious, amazing living spaces and out of this world views. Access to kayaks was a great treat. Enjoyed location just outside of Lunenburg and lots to do. Unfortunately weren’t able to get the TV to work and some appliances were finicky to get operating though nothing that would keep us from coming back. The place had so much to offer and was a nice place for a relaxing weekend getaway!”

”The cabin on a bay not open ocean. Was beautiful but not was disappointing to me No washer/dryer, no dishwasher, no closets or wardrobe or chest of drawers, no place except the floor for suitcase, windows held open by sticks, tub shower combo difficult for me to get in/out. I’m 80 years old and this property was hard for me. Indoor camping which might be great for some, but not for me at this time in my life. Also house on slope from road, lots of uneven outdoor surfaces and stairs. Needed more...
