”No suitable parking due to construction. No outdoor seating as pictured. Window in room had a broken lock so we just left early in the am. It was a room and bed. Sweet lady at the desk was polite. Had to call a cell number to get assistance upon arrival though no one in the office had to call for assistance. If all you’re looking for is a basic room it worked. Close to Tim Hortons opened at 5am.”

”Staff was friendly. It's an old building but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and had great water pressure in the shower, the air conditioner was noisy. It was fine for a quick overnight stay and we appreciated that we could have our dogs with us.”

”When I booked the room a couple of months ago, free breakfast was included. That is no longer provided. Wife found a huge ant in the bed and the staff didn't seem bothered by it when I told them. Staff at front desk that checked us in was good though.”

”Easy check in via self check in with a provided code 24 hours before. Prompt response from Denis with any questions. A 5-10 minute walk to restaurants and the walking path along the river is a hop skip and jump away. Very clean, full kitchen, very comfy bed and a large screen tv with Bell Fibe Tv. Will definitely stay again.”

”They let me use their microwave. The room did not have one. There was good water pressure and lots of towels.”

”Very clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The hotel is showing it's age a bit but we'll return. Note that there is an occasional train, but it did not disturb us.”

”This is a charming small property that was great for an overnight stay. It has been updated but it is small. 2 single beds but very comfortable. Could use a few more electrical outlets or bring a extension cord. No outlet in the bathroom. Shower was good. Would stay again. Host was very attentive.”

”This property was overall very good with some minor problems. The stairs to the second floor has a low ceiling and no railing on open side. The bathroom requires the caulking to be updated. It is close to a factory that sends an unpleasant odour into the air.I appreciate that the owner had a well stocked kitchen including coffee and tea. The laundry facilities were clean and included laundry soap and dryer sheets.There were plenty of linens, a TV in every room and access was timely and easy.”

”Clean and cozy space, comfortable bed, responsive and congenial host, everything was great. This was our first Vrbo stay, but won't be our last! My one caveat to future guests is that the shower stall is quite small. Not a complaint, it was fine for me (a 1X to 2X woman) but anyone much fluffier than me might find it tight. ”
