”The owners worked really hard to make this a nice place. It looks great on the inside with lots of nice updates and touches. The location is perfect for walking to downtown and the AT. Be warned that it is a duplex and it's easy to hear the people next door. I would stay again.”

”Great stay- town has plenty of things open for breakfast lunch and dinner. Also most pet friendly.We did a new hike every day all were again pet friendly and had water access to cool down.Great place for outdoor activities.”

”My husband and I spend a lot of time traveling by motorcycle and have stayed in 50 vacation rentals. This is exactly the kind of place we look for when booking our trips; quiet, clean and comfortable. The house is nicely decorated with everything that we needed to relax at the end of the day. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch listening to the birds and watching the fireflies. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Mars Hill.”

”Beautiful remote serene location! Property has much to explore from a firepit near a lovely creek to a short hike up to a scenic ridge to a Nature Chapel where we searched for birds. The cabin was cozy and quaintly rustic with charming country decor. The porches were set up for relaxing and winding down from a fast-paced world. The hot tub was ready and waiting for us. We loved every bit of our stay and created wonderful 40th anniversary memories. ”

”We love staying here! We arrive and dont have to touch the car unless we want to drive to Max Patch or to the Laural River over the mountain. Everything is within walking distance. ”
