”Everything was perfect!”

”This hotel is aware of our unfortunate experience. They are dealing with it in a positive manner.”

”Staff and guides were all excellent and thoroughly enjoyed the drives. Lodge and food also excellent and we met some fantastic people, however we very very disappointed with our accommodation. We had expected an individual lodge in a private and peaceful setting however we were situated in a lodge attached to another lodge just above the main lodge and kitchen block. So we could constantly hear noise of the kitchen preparations, plates and bins being emptied and staff singing and talking rather...

”Great food, great game drives with knowledgeable drivers. The drivers are wildlife experts and were happy to answer any questions (and we had a lot!). I really hoped to see the giraffes up close and our driver delivered!”

”Die haben tolle Zimmer Hund einen sehr schönen Blick auf den Stausee des Kariga. Eine Safari lohnt sich auf alle Fälle ”

”The room was amazing and the staff are super knowledgeable and friendly! We would stay here again! We were able to see all of the animals on our first game drive and that made the trip! Thank you again for making our vacation so memorable!”

”Amazing stay at HillsNek! Beautiful accommodation, incredible safaris, delicious food and amazing hospitality.”

”Absolutely incredible stay from the moment we arrived until we left. The staff really look after you. James our guide for the 3 days we were there was great. The food is so nice and there is lots of it! We really couldn’t fault any of it! Thank you all at Founders Andrew & Nicola”

”Amazing surroundings! Its a hard for a 76 year old to work from a suitcase on the floor ”

”There is no better safari geared up for families in the world. We had the best time ever as did our seven year old daughter, and the staff couldn’t have done any more for us. This place is THE gold standard in luxury safaris and Riverdene ensured it worked for children too without compromising quality for adults too. Cannot recommend highly enough and thanks so much to all the team! ”

”Too expensive for the value. The roof is not tight when it rains. ”

”Our stay at Quatermain’s was one of the highlights of our three-week trip through South Africa. Julie was incredibly accommodating and made every request feel easy. Jess and Kyle were excellent game-drive guides—engaging, attentive and clearly passionate about what they do. Nick’s warm hospitality made us feel completely at home, while Riaan’s incredible knowledge brought every part of the walking safari to life. The camp’s thoughtful comforts were equally memorable. The hot-water bottles...

”A really lovely and relaxing place to spend a few days whilst visiting the game reserves. Very attentive staff, a large and comfy bedroom A lookout deck, pool, hammock and outdoor seating area are all lovely, and would be fabulous in warmer weather. Three course dinner (set menu) was delicious and all home-prepared on site. The dining room is also very nice, and we were seated right by the fire - very welcome in August. The shower did go cold on us twice, but I think in winter it's harder...
