”Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. ”

”Well-decorated home. Very close to town, and many homes in the area are “period” homes. Lots of antique shopping, but make sure to visit the Time and Measurement Museum. Wonderful visit to a great little town. ”

”Had a lovely time at Sanders Lodge. Plenty of space inside and out to spread out, the lake is much more beautiful in person than the pictures give it credit. I wish that we could’ve stayed longer. ”

”Cute tiny home outside of Jefferson, perfect place for quiet relaxation. Had all the basics of home. We loved just sitting on the porch at night and walked the property for exercise. We were happy driving the country roads and seeing wildlife. We took in Gladewater, Marshall, Jefferson and a 2 hour boat ride on Caddo Lake with the Ole Jigger. Fantastic weekend, close to everything we wanted to do and see. The host was super too.”

”Absolutely wonderful location close to the lake a charming little “cabin“ very quiet an excellent place to relax we really enjoyed our 10th anniversary fishing, sleeping and eating in this quiet little place. We would highly recommend not only this little cabin, but this Owner who has a few properties on this site”

”Beautiful home with so many wonderful antiques and charming appointments. Spacious rooms. Large dining table with many chairs. So many places to gather. A delightful breezeway with ceiling fans and comfortable wicker chairs and loveseats. Many outdoor seating spots and a lovely front porch to gather. We loved the golf cart supplied to go out each night to dinner. Also, the wonderfully landscaped homes in the area were so much fun to drive by. ”

”This property was great. It has everything and more that you will need and want for just a weekend stay or a long week stay. Great lake access with a great dock that you can dock your boat, fish off of, or just sit and enjoy the great lake views. We fished for 4 days straight all over the lake and caught our biggest fish right in front of the dock here. The owners are just next door and will help with anything you may need. We cant wait to get back.”
