”My wife and I loved our stay at Steamboat Inn. The lobby, dining area and rooms were all beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was well stocked with everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The night we spent there, we were the only guests, so we invited the overseer and owner (who prepared breakfast) to eat breakfast with us. We sat and had a great visit with them. This was a real highlight of our entire trip.”

”The property was all that you would want to see in a historic home, but with a modern touch. Don’t forget to take the trolley tour, which includes a historic deep dive into the history of this home. The food was excellent in flavor and portion as it was served on an exquisitely preserved table. The garden was beautiful as well! Anyone that comes into town should stay at this bed-and-breakfast because it is only a block from the central downtown area.”

”Property was exactly as listed. Had a little confusing with payment because the property takes direct payment, but the host walked us through that and had us taken care of before our stay arrived!It is off the beaten pass slightly, but the area is secure and worth it!”

”This beautiful home and property is truly one of a kind!!!! The pictures on the app truly don’t do it justice!!! It is STUNNING and HUGE!!!! It is gated and so secluded that you feel like you have your very own private estate!!! The master bed and bath are their very own private oasis and the master closet is dreamy and attached to the laundry room which made for such an easy washing experience!!! Then there is another king suite on the first floor with an en suite bathroom which feels like...

”We were in Jefferson for the Civil War Reenactment and this house was perfect for our stay. It was across the street from one of the reenactor encampment locations and a short, easy walk to the downtown area. Even though it was close to everything, it was quie6 and peaceful. The house is beautiful and plenty large enough for a fwmily. Check in, check out super easy. The owner is very quick to answer questions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next year.”

”The only suggestion we have is to put railings on the stairs going in To the living area. The rooms were large, closet space wonderful, bathroom perfect and location perfect.”

”We only stayed one night (need to stay for at least two!) but everything was great. Easy to check in, easy to communicate, nice accommodations, close to everything there is to do in town. If you have a larger group this is good because most places are geared for couples.”

”Very clean, spacious, lots of historic relics. Amazing pizza place 2 blocks over! Convienent location to historic downtown. One thing that was missing were televisions the home had none, which made it hard with a toddler. Host was very responsive to the few questions we had.”
