”The young lady that checked us out was very helpful and understanding. It is a beautiful lake and a terrific view. However, the room was disgusting.”

”We were on vacation from Finland and visited nine states. During our trip we stayed in hotels of various levels, some of which were five-star hotels with very good reviews. This accommodation was still the cleanest of all. In addition, the accommodation had the best beds, a very good small kitchen and a cozy breakfast area. Extra points for the fact that the room was odorless, there was no carpet and the bathroom had a very good shower.”

”Good points-good beds, clean sheets, carpet was newer, air worked, big fridge, wi-if worked, pool was decent, staff (front desk) was very helpful and apologetic for the condition and cleanliness of room. Really bad points-room was filthy. Light switches, door frames, doors, walls had not been wiped down in a long time. They were the kind of dirty that builds up over a long time not just one bad cleaning. I don’t mind older tubs and sinks but the tub literally had a filthy soap scum ring around...

”The house was so clean and the host is exactly the kind of host that makes it so much easier and pleasant to plan a trip. The parking was not very easy for two trucks and boats, and the dock had no electricity so we ended up docking at the marina. But overall an excellent place to stay.”
