”This is the best hotel we have ever been to. It is designed, built, and operated by the owner JC Espinoza, an accomplished architect for his clients. The view is simply phenomenal overlooking volcano Masaya which had a minor eruption on Dec 22, 2024. The hotel also overlooks lake Masaya, an old volcano crater. ”Ich war in Begleitung von 6 Erwachsene für nur eine Übernachtung mit Frühstückt in der Posada ecológica la Abuela gewesen. Wir hatte Hütte #14 für 7-8 Personen. Alles war sauber, klimatisiert und ruhig. Das Personal ist sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Der Ausblick ist gigantisch und das Wasser der Lagune schön warm. Gerne würden wir uns das nächste Mal mehr Zeit hier niederlassen. ”

”Es un lugar limpio, si andas buscando tranquilidad este es el lugar adecuado para ti, no tienen cocina, pero si tienen un menu y te traen la comida de otro local. Pero si eres de los que solo llegaran a dormir y disfrutar de la laguna y las instalaciones es tu lugar indicado, hay muchas opciones fuera del hotel para comer o hacer otras actividades y muchas ciudades turisticas a menos de 30 minutos manejando.”

”The place is welcoming and makes you feel at home. Amenities are fine, speedy WiFi, warm water. Buy your food in the small pulperias and have a chat with the local people, there is no supermarket in Catarina. I would easily spend a couple of weeks there. The housekeeper Juan is of great help with all practicalities. Thank you Paula. ”
