”Beautiful location surrounded by stunning nature, with amazing rooms and a breakfast of a very high standard.
However, the grounds and overall maintenance do not reflect the level expected from a Relais & Châteaux or Michelin Key property. There were dry leaves and weeds throughout the territory, and several trees appeared infested or dying. For such a large estate, there should clearly be more gardeners and stronger attention to maintenance and cleanliness.

”I had a really lovely stay at Ocean Bliss by Sugar Co-living in Weligama. The property has a beautiful beachfront atmosphere with a calm, boho-style design that feels very different from a normal hotel. The rooms are clean, cozy, and nicely designed, with a relaxed coastal feeling.
The best part is the location. It is close to the ocean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing, working remotely, or enjoying a slow beach holiday. The Wi-Fi was good, and the shared spaces made it easy to feel...

”I was very unhappy with this accommodation, which we paid £200 per night. On arrival the hotel staff and checking was very nice, our room was on the fourth floor via the lift and very, very steep stairs to the room. The bathroom was awful totally open to the outside world view with plastic curtain which kept blowing around in the wind, when you were trying to take a shower. This wasn't shown in photo's on your website or mention in the description to this room.
Also no desk in the room, or...

”Our stay in the garden villa was really great. It was clean and spacious with a semi outdoor bathroom. The pool area was straight in front of the ocean so you could watch the waves from your sunbed. Surf board hire was cheap with a large range of boards. Drinks were cheap and food yummy.”

”We had a very nice stay for two nights. Both pools are excellent, staff are very friendly, the room was clean and had modern amenities.
Breakfast was excellent however, we had lunch at the hotel one day and it was only okay. There are a few monkeys around the property however, most never come into the actual hotel.
For note, the hotel is based on top of a hill which is a very steep climb. While there is an outdoor lift for luggage and personal use, it does operate very slowly so the stairs...

”The ocean view was very nice. Our room was one of the best and very large, it accommodated 4 people. Everything was very nice we arrived in the low season yet we enjoyed our time. The staff were splendid. We ate all our meals at the hotel restaurant because it tasted so good and the staff were so helpful and friendly.”
