”Amaloh Boutique Resort offers a very relaxing holiday experience. The staff are very welcoming; the accommodation is oversized and very comfortable; the swimming pool is terrific for being able to swim laps; the oceanfront location fabulous with kayaking and ocean swimming available . We were two couples, from Norway and Australia) and we absolutely loved this boutique hotel. Perfect for a three night stay after travelling around the highlands of Sri Lanka.”

”We had a wonderful stay at Angel Rest. The owners are very kind and helpful. We cooked in their kitchen, showed them some of our cuisine and got taught making crab curry. Its just 200m to the beach and 800m to the supermarket. The rooms and bathroom are new, bed is comfortable. We added two extra days.”

”We stayed here 4 nights and it was fantastic! The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. The food was good, served at tables under the shade of the coconut trees by our waiter, Karu, who was always attentive and polite. One day we requested a special meal of fresh fish for dinner (must be requested at breakfast time), which the chef cooked to perfection and served at the time of our choosing that evening. The staff let us know about baby sea turtles that were making...

”We very much enjoyed our stay at the Ballena Regency. The hotel is new (its a year old), and has been finished to a very good standard. Our room was large, and being on the third floor, had great views including a side view of the ocean. The room was very clean, lots of storage and hanging space, and very good a/c! We also had a spacious balcony with seating area. The pool area is lovely, with loungers and umbrellas for shade. The breakfasts at the hotel are hard to beat - with fresh fruit...
