”What a pleasant location and experience. Darien Ga is a cute small, pretty town. The hotel was right on the river and if you book a balcony room you have a beautiful view, The staff was very helpful, the room was very clean and and roomy. Also my wife left her watch in the room after we checked out and on our way to NY. The housekeepers were honest enough to turn it in to the front desk which we greatly appreciated.”

”This is a delightful place to stay in Darien. Just one look from the back porch tells it all. It has a beautiful view of the marsh and the river in the distance. The hosts are lovely and provided a delicious breakfast. We would love to stay there again. Ask for a room on the ground floor if you don't want to use stairs.”

”If you haven't checked out the Harris Neck Nature Reserve you should, in fact go a couple of times- you'll see different birds and wildlife at various times of the day. At dusk you might find an alligator in your path, so keep your eye open. If that's too much wildlife for you grab a cold drink and great meal at Hunter's Cafe!”

”It’s a very cozy place and a minute walk to the water . It’s not far at all from Hunters ( the best hamburger on the bluff ) !! We enjoyed our stay and we will rent for the host again . Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!!”

”Great get away before school starts. Such a peaceful place, we can’t wait to return someday.”

”What an absolute perfect stay!! Everything was incredibly comfortable and clean and we were constantly finding thoughtful touches like flashlights, binoculars, corn hole boards. We saw dolphins and lots of birds (even a painted bunting!) while enjoying the dock and beautiful outdoor spaces. Thank you to the host for a weekend we will always remember, such good time spent with extended family. We hope to come back!”

”Clean and spacious condo. Great area with several restaurants in walking distance. Pool was nice. Host was great with communication. Would definitely stay again!”

”Great place- had everything we needed! We regret not ordering a local meal and tour & will add that next time. Some information in listing was slightly outdated (gas grill in picture was no longer there, but we just used charcoal). Price for car rental is now higher and host said he would update that information.”
