”A family-friendly place with beautiful pool, splash zone, playground and jumping pad. The river view cabins really do have a full view of the river. The boardwalk is lovely but very short. At one end is a stagnant lagoon that smells awful, but at the other end it's a beautiful broad platform with tables and a fantastic view. Everything is clean - amenities, cabins, pathways. The pedal cars are very worn and well beyond the point of being adjustable. The seat popped off ours mid-ride but luckily...

”Drove from Sydney expecting a good night's sleep and instead, I got a loud trashy night club blaring awful music and the bass reverbating through my room. I called reception and asked if they could reduce the volume and bass but they refused. ”It was just what we needed…nothing fancy. It was in a campground. The kids enjoyed the playground. We enjoyed the beach and the hike up the mountain. They do things differently in Australia. In the U.S., someone is always at the reception counter. We didn’t realize that this place closed at 4:00. We didn’t get there until 6:00. We couldn’t get our phones to go through to the after hours number, but we lucked out when someone was driving out that could help us get into the lock box. Not...

”This was an excellent place to stay. Our room had a private garden area with great views. The room was spacious and they had thought of everything. There was a golf course behind us which we played on and there was a tavern about 150 metres away. Perfect stay. Definitely coming back. Couldn’t rate the staff as it was self check in and check out so we didn’t see anyone but we didn’t need to.”
