”Great proximity to slopes. Room quite nice. Hotel restaurants slightly too expensive.”

”Location is perfect being a few minutes walk to the train station, Yuzawa Kogen ski lifts, restaurants and shops. The food for breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent in quality and variety. We stayed 4 nights and was not bored of the spread. ”

”It’s a good hotel to ski. They have shuttle bus every half hour between hotel and the train station. The massive hotel is facing a ski field, particularly good for beginners, ski school and park for kids. After ski, then you can enjoy the hot spring. It’s amazing. I also love the buffet. I may bring the kids back again for ski in future. ”

”Excellent hotel, the room was very spacious. Great buffet breakfast selection. Friendly staffs. Free shuttle bus to Yuzawa station every 30 mins. The snow resort is right next to the hotel; however, it was not yet opened when we were there (mid December) We had to travel to Kagura.”

”Hotel Futaba truly exceeded our expectations. We stayed as a family of five, and the room was incredibly spacious, more like staying in an apartment than a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to find that both breakfast and dinner were included, which was a huge bonus and meant we didn’t have to go out searching for food after a long day of snowboarding. We experienced a kaiseki dinner for the first time and it was absolutely amazing, one of the best cultural experiences of our trip. The hotel...

”Lawson is 2 min walk. Onsen is great We stayed on top floor 5th floor, lift only goes to 4th floor unfortunately, so carry up luggage 25 steps. Might need help if you struggle with heavy lifting Room is spacious. Lobby lounge comfy. Well family ran hotel. Shuttle bus runs frequently morning till 6pm. The shuttle bus at echigo station stops on the right side as you come out the sliding door of the station if you are looking for it. There is ski rental if needed. Small souvenirs...

”Incredibly clean and hygienic place, I’ve stayed there before and loved it! Super close to the ski resort, onsen visit is included, they have storage for your ski/ snowboard equipment as well as free laundry. The showers are amazing as well as the room heaters. I love staying here and I will be returning next year :) might just be an annual trip! They also have a great kitchen setup, along with Beer on draft! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!! 😊”
