”Staff was excellent. Bar and Bartendress plus pizza excellent . Room was ok, bathroom door didn't shut all the way, shower spray head dribbled. Needs cleaning or replacement. Bed, very sunken, needs replaced.”

”Nice place to stay when traveling”

”When I showed up the office was full of flies, and young kids running around in the 8x8’ office and acting very disrespectful. The manager charged my card a deposit and sent me to the room. As I was starting to go to the room the managers husband said that he still had to mop the floor but it was cleaned and wondered if I wanted it mopped.? WTH. I said yes and waited for him to complete that. When he was done he told me that he would have some clean towels in a little bit while they were still...

”Very much a budget motel. The first room I was offered had not been made up and looked like someone was living in it. Linens were on a pile on the bed, there was trash on the counters and food in the fridge. Staff was helpful and moved me to a new room upon my report, but indicated the new room was also not ready and asked me to come back in 10m. The new room had been made up, but lacked basic amenities. ”This was our first time visiting Modoc County and we are so happy we booked Gooseloop Getaway for our 4-night stay. This lovely home is THE BEST place to stay when visiting Alturas and for day trips throughout gorgeous Modoc County. So quiet and peaceful, set amongst the trees yet just a few minutes drive to town. Entire house was extremely clean and updated. So many amenities - TV’s, great WiFi service, barbeque and patio set outside. Air conditioning was nice to have on a few warm days. If...

”My wife and I were amazed and absolutely overwhelmed by the hospitable nature of this home! We could not have felt more welcome! In addition, the size of this vacation rental was more than enough for us. In fact, we have family living in Alturas and visit them from Denver at least twice a year! Our desire would be to stay at your location for our upcoming visits! And we pray that God blesses you all in a rich and meaningful way! Once again, thank you for having us as your guests!”
