”Many years ago, before the infamous conflagration that destroyed part of the hotel, I stayed there. ”Gorgeous lodge near Kruger with a pottery workshop on site. Bring your own dinner and you can relax around the fire at night and listen to the hyenas. Excellent breakfast and one morning an elephant appeared at the pond. Great service, lovely pool and friendly staff. If you are lucky the architect - Tom- May tell you the history of this beautiful spot. Our favourite in 2 months. ”

”The only reason I'm giving this place 4* is because the road leading down is gravel and not bery well maintained. The cabin itself is a paradise! The pond is beautiful, the ducks friendly, and the fast moving creek sounds lull you to sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies. The staff was friendly and the whole property is well maintained. ”
