”The hotel was very clean, the beds comfortable and the people that work there friendly and helpful. The only thing that could change seems to be a new trend and that is emptying the trash and clean towels daily. We don't need the beds made or the floor swept. We asked for towels and received them and the room was made up on one of the days we stayed. This seems to be a trend across the board since Covid. The staff were great, the place was the cleanest we have stayed in for a very long time....

”If you’re desperate and need a place to park, there’s a good slab of cement for you. People definitely permanently live here in their campers too, and their arms length away from your spot, so be prepared to make some friends….the owner stopped replying to me so they don’t get a great review. I was looking for a place to camp, not a place to park, so please if you’re looking for the same thing, this is not it. I arrived, laughed, and left. Didn’t even get out of my car.”

”Every year my cousin and I get together to celebrate our wedding anniversaries, since we got married 3 weeks apart. This place was a perfect location, with a beautiful view. The host was wonderful and the house was very clean. We enjoyed fishing in the pond. What a great trip!”

”We've traveled down to this Burr Oak cabin for 3 years in a row now. I absolutely love it & it's so close to the boat ramp! The host is so friendly, loves talking to my husband!! We are making this an annual trip!!”

”Concerned about the smell of water and feel when showering. Owner said its well but i feel it needs to be check and treated. They did respond saying its country living. But house i own in Poconos is checked and treated and that is well water. They did leave drinking water. House is cute. Basement steps are steep not for an elderly person. ”

”My husband, my mother, my pups and I stayed here. Pet friendly, plenty of room, and amenities. When I had a question the owner was quick and friendly with her responses. Clean property. I would definitely stay here again! ”

”The hardware Inn is a great place to stay if you’re looking for something that is quiet, peaceful, and offers a great view of the river. It was easy to access and the owners were very, very easy to work with.”
