”Simply an amazing stay. We visited during off season and we were the only ones staying at the Guesthouse. Our room exceeded our expectations and the owner could not have been any kinder. They scrimped on nothing even though we were the only guests. We stayed over on a Saturday night and the small racetrack next door was making noise but it was only for a little while. Breakfast was first rate and cooked to order, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, granola, croissants, muffins etc. were also...

”A lovely lodge set against the rocky outcrops of Springbok. The room was welcoming, clean and the bed comfortable. Dinner was acceptable not much choice available. Very sweet server who seemed to be doing it all”

”Calvinia hotel was like an oasis in the desert. Comfortable, cool and comforting. We had to book for our return trip as well.”

”Old school charm lodge with antiques furnishings; comfortable suite; great location/view; breakfast was fine but not amazing; Wifi worked great; TV had more options than I was expecting; bathroom was clean but felt like it was from another era. Overall, I would stay here again and recommend it.”

”The eco village is tucked away in the private nature reserve. Wonderful views of springboks as you drive to the eco village on the grounds. Rooms were clean and modern, exceptionally comfortable bed. We will welcomed upon arrival with a glass of port - nice touch. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional, tasty food especially the rack of lamb. Stargazing with Eben was an exciting and unique experience. Will stay here again.”
