”Room was beautiful. Dining was awful. Bland food and terrible service. Front desk was not knowledgeable about things to do in the area. Went on the onsite hike and trail was not well marked. Off duty employees said they hadn’t gotten around to the t yet. Very underwhelmed by the resort”

”Stayed in unit 3137, great place, well furnished and cozy. Well stocked kitchen. By far the best one i have stayed in so far. Only minus no proper blanket. Expect a hotel quality puffy, comfy blanket, had my own with, therefor slept good, besides the neighbor left their dog howling in their unit when out. Would love to stay in that unit again.”

”Interesting and unique place ! The bed was super comfortable, slept great. Rooms very small and no extra frills, it worked for the main purpose, sleep, shower. Perfect place for travelers to meet and mingle. Mostly spent our time in Truckees many restaurants/bars or Northstar skiing. I would recommend if looking for a lil more affordable place ! Personally a lil pricy for a hostel, but its Truckee, tourist town and close to skii resorts, thats just the way it is !”

”I like the breakfast, but after the power went out for four or five hours, I had put my towels out the door and because of the power outage the Mark would not lock the doors personally Took my towels out and put them on the floor outside of my door in the doorway one of the staff from the Front reservation desk took them. I think they were six or so. For two days, I did not receive any clean line nor was the best made That’s my story and I’m sticking to it”

”A little slice of heaven in the mountains. I haven’t stayed during ski season but this lodge is part of the Sierra Club. I stayed towards end of spring/early summer and found this to be a beautiful lodge with every amenity a weekend camper or van lifer would need. They have clean bathrooms, a beautiful main room to hangout in, a kitchen room with fridge and microwave (I believe the original kitchen is no longer available unless they have events or food plans running for ski season). Breakfast...

”Easy highway access. Nice staff. Nothing outstsnding, but the room was clean and th bed was comfortable. The oncluded breakfast has the choice of toast, cereal or pancakes... no fruit. Overall, reasonable for the price, but a little effort on breakfast would sway me to stay again when in town on business.”

”We were placed in a room that smelled like urine so the staff moved us to another room. The TV remote didn't work and Noone could help fix it. They just suggested we move back to the original room. Overall the stay was ok but don't think I would be back or suggest this place to others. Breakfast was good. Love the waffles”

I suggested they give guests a pass to put in their window to prevent non-guests from using the lot. Next time, I'll arrive well before...
