”As an architecture buff I enjoyed staying in this 150 year old historic building. It is in the heart of “old” Nitra within walking distance of parks, restaurants, the riverfront and shopping. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Although it’s not the “grand” hotel it once was, it’s very good value and we would definitely stay here again.”

I had booked three nights in this pension and when I arrived there, they said unfortunately they don't have room for me, but instead they had book a room for me in an apartment which was below all ratings. They never informed me about problems and I had received confirmation from hotels.com about the booking. Lady at the reception was nice and polite so for her I give 5/5 rating.”

”I was there with my family, and for the three of us it was perfect. Very spacious, very well equiped kitchen, very clean white linien and towels (and I am oversensitive about this), the location was perfect (not far from the city centre and yet very quiet) very nice service, and a very good price. If you tried hard you could see dirt in some places, and the apartment could use some renovation, but this is just me being niggling.
