”This is definitely a 3 star hotel. It was safe, clean but rooms are on the smaller end. The tap in our room didn’t work well and the rooms were a bit dark, but the breakfast was very good. The area is safe with the mall right there, which was great. I thought the price was far too high for the type of hotel however.”

”The carpets were dirty and I felt like they only clean the inside, the outside stoep was dirty as well. The sleeper couch needs to be changed as well, they are too old”

”We were greeted on arrival by the owner, who was extremely welcoming and hospitable. The room was extremely spacious and well appointed and the breakfast excellent. Dullstroom is evidently the highest town in South Africa at well over 2000 metres above sea level. As such it is somewhat cooler than most of the country and provided a welcome respite. We would have no hesitation in recommending Critchley Hackle and hope to return ourselves next year.”
