”Spent one night at the hotel. It is situated in a beautiful coastal town. The room was small, but clean and had a nice bathroom. We had an own entrance! The staff was friendly and helpful. We had an excellent three course meal at the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious, especially loved the fresh fruits! Nice that the hotel was so dogfriendly. Would love to stay at this hotel again :)”

”This is our 2nd stay in this hotel, and once again, it was perfect for us! There has been a change in management since we were last here, and the current manager & partner were busy decorating the rooms. They have a lot to do, but are clearly working hard on it. They are friendly and welcoming. The chef there is fantastic! He is gradually changing the menu, but all the food we had was superb! Very good cooked breakfast, and the evening meal we had was excellent- try the Tandoori Lamb Chops,...

”Wells next the sea is, as always, simply stunning and unique.
The Globe Hotel is well situated in a leafy area of Wells.
The room was okay, if a little tired, decor wise ie: paintwork needed touching up, but was clean and well stocked with beverages both hot and cold.
The bed was a tad uncomfortable for sleeping, it felt like a well used mattress.
On the whole the staff were polite and helpful.
Breakfast was well presented with a good choice of hot dishes along with continental food.”

”The hotel was nice the staff and the breakfast was good. There isn't much parking and it can be abit tight getting in and out but I believe if car park is full can park at the lawns if staying at feathers”

”Things were not great during my stay. The food was awful, and breakfast was particularly disappointing. My room was not clean, and the bed was uncomfortable.
To make matters worse, there was no staff available at checkout. On top of that, the invoice I was given was incorrect and did not reflect the amount that had already been paid through Expedia.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I expected a much higher standard of service and accommodation.”

”Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b...
