”The location is spectacular with a large lake and beautiful mountains. The lodge was nice and the staff very helpful. In addition, it is one of the few options if you're driving south from Whitehorse to the Peace Region unless you want to do a 12 or 14 hour trip. Food choices are limited; the restaurant has only a set menu for it $80, and the a la carte menu for room service is minimal. The rooms are not terribly well equipped: there is no coffee maker, no electric kettle, no refrigerator, etc.”

”The Staff was very friendly. The rooms are entirely worn down which is not necessary something I'd complain about but the fact that they're using bedding that's probably 20 years + old that makes the overall experience terrible in my opinion. Fair enough it's a fairly priced motel where travelers get some rest but if the bedding smells like smoking I'm already done with this place. ”It’s basic hotel for an overnight. They have done a number of updates to the outside and the rooms which improve the general appearance. However, it’s not done well. My floor was soft and uneven. Some large gaps in the vinyl flooring. The parking lot is still awful.”

The receptionist was constantly absent, making it nearly impossible to find any assistance when needed. It was a frustrating experience, and I regret choosing this hotel.
