”The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!”

”We only stayed one night after we attended a concert in the area. We didn't arrive until close to midnight and had to leave the very next morning so we didn't get to enjoy the facilities. The camper was nice and spacious for the two of us. Bed was comfortable but a little tight to move around. But I really don't expect much space in a camper. I wish we could've enjoyed the pool and hot tub but didn't have time. We had a little difficulty finding the place but it was the middle of the night so...

”The shower was awesome with great water pressure! The bed was comfortable; however, it did smell like it had been smoking and maybe changed.”

”It’s an older property, but the room was clean and fresh. There were loads of cigarette butts in the parking area. I moved to multiple spots, but they were everywhere. However, there had been no smoking in the room, nor did it reek of air fresheners. I am highly sensitive to smells, and the room was fine.”
