”It was very private and quiet and a secluded area. It was a clean, cute little place. Only thing that drove me crazy was the acorns that kept falling on the tin roof. Overall great stay!”

”The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!”

I traveled 14 hours for a family members funeral and was very disappointed upon arrival to this facility. It was infested with bugs. The clerk at the desk kept saying I can give you another room as if bugs don't travel. I asked the desk clerk to cancel my reservation and he refused. I did not stay here and was charged for the reservation even after trying to cancel the...
